Grave 1248 Commemorated on Page 71 of the Korean War Book of Remembrance Private Sweeney was the son of Charles and Dorothy Sweeney of Halifax, Nova Scotia and husband of Beryl Augusta (nee Patmore) Sweeney of Bowness, Alberta. Private Sweeney was killed by a stove fire in his tent.
