Neil Thorold MacLeod F-37502 Corporal The Royal Canadian Regiment June 24, 1926 Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick May 25, 1942 Sackville, New Brunswick May 8, 1952 25 Brookside Cemetery Sydney Mines, Cape Breton Co., Nova Scotia Commemorated on Page 45 of the Korean War Book of Remembrance. Corporal MacLeod was the son of Mr. Neil A.MacLeod of Halifax and Mrs. Ruby E. MacLeod of Sydney, Nova Scotia, and the husband of Mrs. Viola Maude MacLeod of Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. He died while on medical leave of a ruptured spleen/malaria, at home (contracted in Korea). Neil Thorold MacLeod also served during World War II.
