Row 6. Grave 1180 Commemorated on Page 22 of the Korean War Book of Remembrance. Corporal Evans was the son of Sarah Unice Clarke. His father had died of wounds received during WWI. Corporal Evans served in the Reserves from 1944 and was discharged in May 1945. He joined the Canadian Army in 1950 and served in Korea. He was killed in action in October 1951 during a patrol with D Coy, 2 RCR when they were fired upon by the enemy with Light Machine Gun fire.
