He was the brother of John Toussaint DuLong (1889-1957), Norman John DuLong (1895-1968), James Lawrence DuLong (1900- 1981), John Mark Dulong (1903-1991), Stanley DuLong (1904-1991) and Evelyn Dulong (1907-1981). Frank married Mary Anita Muise (1894-1985) of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, on April 7, 1920 in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Frank and Mary were the parents of Catherine Evelyn DuLong (1920-1996), John Lawrence DuLong (1922-1967), Ruth Anna DuLong, 1925-2004), Helen Louise DuLong, Nelson Joseph Dulong (1932-2008) and Arthur James DuLong (1934-2006). Frank and Mary’s son, Nelson Joseph Dulong (1932-2008) served as a Sergeant with the US Army during the Korean War. Mary’s brothers, John Nelson Muise (1892-1917) and Arthur Muise (1896-1918) both served in the Canadian Army during World War I and were casualties. A nephew, William Earl Muise (1924-2007) of Wakefield, Mass., served with the United States Navy during World War II. In1907 Frank departed Canada for residency in the United States. He departed Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on the SS Prince George arriving in Boston, Mass., on August 10, 1907. In 1917, Frank was employed at Wakefield Coal Supple, North Avenue, Wakefield. He enlisted in the US Army on April 28, 1918 and departed the United States at New York on the SS Cedric on July 6, 1918 serving with Company “C” 301st Infantry. In France he served with Company “E” 167th Infantry. He departed France at Brest on April 15, 1919 on the SS Montana and arrived in Hoboken, New Jersey on April 25, 1919. He was discharged from service on May 8, 1919. In 1942, he was employed by the Town of Wakefield and living with his wife Mary at 28 Charles St., in Wakefield. Frank died on his 82nd birthday, October 3, 1986.
