March 12, 2007

On Tuesday, March 20, 2007, Dame Vera Lynn will celebrate her 90th Birthday.

Vera Lynn has always affectionately referred to WWII veterans as “Her Boys”. For Allied Forces serving in WWII, she was the uncontested musical favourite for “the boys” who commonly referred to her as their “Forces Sweetheart”.

When asked about her songs in an interview at her home in Ditchling recently she said, “Yours is perhaps one of the most popular followed by We’ll Meet Again and The White Cliffs of Dover" – all songs that 440 Productions has included in stage productions over the past fifteen years.

Wartime Heritage and 440 Productions wish Dame Vera Lynn a sincere Happy Birthday and all the best in 2007.
