While in Deal, the cast and crew were guests at a dinner hosted by the Mayor at the Deal Town Hall, Kent. Also in attendance were other government officials and members of the Downs Branch, Royal British Legion. Following the dinner the cast and crew visited the historic Town Hall Parlour.

Sites visited in Kent, England during this tour included the Battle of Britain Memorial (at Capel-Le-Ferne), the Spitfire and Hurricane Museum (RAF Station Manston, Ramsgate) and the seafront at St Margaret's Bay.
