The Wartime Heritage Association is a non-profit organization registered under the Nova Scotia Societies Act (Registry ID number 3211724). The Association is governed by a volunteer 7-member Board of Directors.
440 Productions is a remembrance initiative of the Wartime Heritage Association.

Eric May, a Second World War Veteran (Petty Officer [Air]), served as a Telegraphist Air Gunner (TAG) in the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy. He spent time in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia training as a TAG at No. 1 Naval Air Gunners School at East Camp at RCAF Station Yarmouth. After WWII, he was awarded a Fellowship by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust for Fire Safety and Risk Assessment and is a Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers as well. In 2007, the Association presented some of Mr. May's wartime experiences in the 440 Production of, Tragedy and Triumph - Memories of WWII.
